We are currently seeking a Remote Azure DevOps Cloud Engineer to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).
Job Overview :
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify existing on-prem content that cannot be migrated and must be cleaned up prior to cloud migration.
- Move identified content out of repos to alternate locations to facilitate migration.
- Create strategy for maintaining work item links after migration where possible as well as preserving pipelines with necessary modifications for continued function post-migration.
- Develop processes for cleanup and migration of backlog items, pipelines, repos, etc.
Skills & Qualifications :
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Azure DevOps and Git .
- Experience using DevOps APIs .
- Understanding of differences between on-prem DevOps and Azure Cloud DevOps .
- Experience creating scripts and processes to move DevOps content between instances.
Education & Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with Microsoft Azure DevOps .
