Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer with Kubernetes expertise to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, and cloud operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, testing, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure smooth and efficient software releases.
- Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot system performance, availability, and security.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or Ansible.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and application performance.
- Implement and manage containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, cloud standards, and best practices.
- Continuously improve DevOps processes, tools, and automation frameworks to enhance reliability and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with strong Azure cloud experience.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, practices, and automation methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as:
- Azure DevOps
- Jenkins
- GitLab CI/CD
- Similar automation tools
- Strong scripting experience with:
- PowerShell
- Bash
- Python
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools:
- Terraform
- ARM Templates
- Ansible
- Hands-on experience with:
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Container orchestration platforms
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration in cloud environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Azure certifications such as:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Similar Azure certifications
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools:
- Azure Monitor
- Azure Log Analytics
- Prometheus
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
