Job Description
This position bridges IT infrastructure management and Azure DevOps engineering to support AI/ML workloads and enterprise IT services. The role focuses on secure, scalable, and compliant delivery of applications, data pipelines, and machine learning models across Azure cloud environments.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of DevOps/SRE experience, including 3+ years with Azure.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts), GitHub Actions, and YAML-based CI/CD.
- Strong experience with Terraform or Bicep/ARM.
- Experience with AKS and Azure Container Registry (ACR).
- Proficiency with PowerShell and/or Python.
- Familiarity with Docker and Helm.
- Experience with Azure Machine Learning workspaces, endpoints, and registries.
- Experience integrating ML workflows into CI/CD.
- Strong understanding of RBAC, Key Vault, Managed Identity, Azure Policies, VNets, subnets, Private Link, and cloud cost management.
Preferred
- Experience with GPU workloads on AKS or Azure ML.
- Experience with Azure ML Managed Online Endpoints or Kubernetes inference.
- Familiarity with Databricks, Fabric, or similar data platforms.
- Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Solutions Architect certification.

First 90 Days
- Build baseline CI/CD templates for AI services covering build, test, security scanning, and release.
- Deploy a reference AKS/AML environment using IaC with RBAC, policies, and private networking.
- Establish unified dashboards, alerts, and SLOs for pipeline and platform health.
- Create incident response and change management playbooks.
- Identify and prioritize automation opportunities.
