Back End Developer

About Billcut Billcut is building scalable, high-performance solutions that power modern financial workflows. We are looking for a Backend Developer who is passionate about building robust server-side applications and cloud-native systems.
Role Overview We are seeking a Backend Developer with strong experience in Node.js, AWS, and Serverless architecture . You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs that power our products.
Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable backend services using Node.js
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
Architect and deploy applications using AWS services
Implement and manage serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, etc.)
Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams
Manage version control and CI/CD workflows using GitHub
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Required Skills & Qualifications Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript
Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, etc.)
Experience with Serverless framework
Good understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture
Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
Familiarity with authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth)
Experience using GitHub for version control and collaboration
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Good to Have Experience in fintech or payment systems
Knowledge of Docker and containerization
Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, etc.)
