Backend Engineer (Python) – Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer with 4–5 years of professional experience in Python development to contribute to a healthcare-focused Saa S platform designed for laboratory management, genetic testing, and clinical data processing. The ideal candidate should possess strong backend expertise and experience working on production-grade systems.
Key Responsibilitie
Develop and optimize backend services using Python
Design and maintain scalable RESTful APIs for internal and external systems
Manage databases, asynchronous processes, and caching mechanisms
Work collaboratively with QA, Dev Ops, and product teams to ensure smooth system delivery
Improve backend reliability, performance, and security
Prepare and maintain technical and API documentation
. Required Technical Skill
Strong command of Pytho n, OOP principles, and asynchronous programming
Hands-on experience with Django, Django REST Framework (DRF), and Fast AP I
Knowledge of REST API architectur e, authentication methods, and API versioning
Experience with Postgre SQL/My SQ L, ORM tools, and Redis caching
Familiarity with Celery, Rabbit MQ, or AWS SQ S for task processing
Working knowledge of AWS service s, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks

Preferred Qualificatio
Exposure to microservices architecture
Experience in healthcare or regulated environments
Familiarity with deployment across multiple environments
