Backend Engineer (Python) – Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer with 4–5 years of professional experience in Python development to contribute to a healthcare-focused SaaS platform designed for laboratory management, genetic testing, and clinical data processing. The ideal candidate should possess strong backend expertise and experience working on production-grade systems.
Key Responsibilitie
- Develop and optimize backend services using Python
- Design and maintain scalable RESTful APIs for internal and external systems
- Manage databases, asynchronous processes, and caching mechanisms
- Work collaboratively with QA, DevOps, and product teams to ensure smooth system delivery
- Improve backend reliability, performance, and security
- Prepare and maintain technical and API documentation
.Required Technical Skill
- Strong command of Pytho n, OOP principles, and asynchronous programming
- Hands-on experience with Django, Django REST Framework (DRF), and FastAP I
- Knowledge of REST API architectur e, authentication methods, and API versioning
- Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQ L, ORM tools, and Redis caching
- Familiarity with Celery, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQ S for task processing
- Working knowledge of AWS service s, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks

- Exposure to microservices architecture
