What you will be doing:
- Design and develop high-quality RESTful Web APIs, primarily using .NET (C#), and support existing .NET Framework services.
- Optimize and manage relational data using SQL Server, focusing on efficient schemas, complex queries, and robust stored procedures.
- Ensure application quality and maintainability by rigorously applying SOLID principles and clean architecture methodologies.
- Actively contribute to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps) and develop comprehensive unit and integration tests (e.g., xUnit/NUnit) for reliability.
- Uphold stringent coding standards, participate in peer code reviews, and work effectively within a geographically distributed, cross-functional team.
- Proactively and clearly communicate development progress, identify risks, and manage dependencies with stakeholders.
What our client is looking for:
- Minimum 6+ years in software development, primarily focused on the back-end.
- Extensive hands-on proficiency with .NET (C#) Core, developing RESTful Web APIs, and solid expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (including advanced query optimization).
- Familiarity with standard Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps).
- Strong ownership mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and exceptional communication skills to articulate technical concepts.
- Experience in the financial domain, familiarity with legacy .NET Framework maintenance, and exposure to modern front-end development (Vue.js or other modern frameworks) a plus.
