Job Title: Java Backend Developer
Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid) – one week onsite every month
Duration: Long-term contract W2 (No Third Party Candidates)
Need strong experience with Data Structures and Algorithms; expertise with coding tests (e.g., HackerRank).
Responsibilities- Apply expert knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms to backend solutions.
- Develop with Java and the Spring Boot framework.
- Utilize Amazon Web Services (Aurora, S3, EC2, Lambda, Athena) in deployments.
- Design and implement RESTful services and microservices architectures.
- Conduct test automation across Unit, Integration, Regression, and Load testing.
- Work with modern infrastructure tools and pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, Terraform).
- Use ops/tools for logging and metrics (New Relic, Splunk, CloudWatch).
- Experience with messaging technologies/patterns (Kafka, SQS).
Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to travel to Seattle for one week per month.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
