We’re looking for a high-calibre Back-End Engineer to join a growing team building cloud-native, high-performance services . Why this role stands out: Work with a modern cloud-native stack Strong engineering culture with real ownership Opportunity to influence architecture and mentor others What you’ll be doing: Design, build, and maintain scalable back-end services Develop and integrate RESTful APIs & event-driven systems Contribute to domain-driven and microservices architectures Build and operate cloud-native applications on Kubernetes Participate in architecture decisions and technical strategy Mentor engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and Platform teams AWS (cloud-native services) What we’re looking for: 6+ years back-end development experience Proven track record building production-grade systems Strong Java & Spring Boot expertise Solid understanding of microservices & distributed systems Experience with SQL & No SQL databases Hands‑on cloud experience (AWS preferred ) Qualifications: Matric (essential) The details: Up to R1.4m per annum (CTC) Location: Cape Town (Hybrid/On-site) Type: Permanent Reference: GZ61205 #J-18808-Ljbffr
