Hiring: Backend Cloud-Native Engineer (Java, AWS, Kubernetes) Role
Location & Working Model:
- 100% Remote (within Spain)

Role Summary
We are looking for a Backend Cloud-Native Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs within an AWS cloud environment.
The role requires strong expertise in Java/Spring , cloud-native architectures, microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes, with exposure to modern technologies such as Go, Event-Driven Architecture, and Infrastructure as Code .
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Java (Spring Boot) .
- Develop and support microservices in AWS cloud environments .
- Contribute to the adoption and evolution of Go as part of the technology stack.
- Define and maintain API specifications using OpenAPI .
- Build and operate solutions using AWS services such as Lambda and DynamoDB .
- Design and implement cloud-native and distributed architectures .
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and deploy them on Kubernetes .
- Apply engineering best practices including:
- Automated Testing
- Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Software Quality Standards
- Develop basic automation scripts using Bash .
- Collaborate with development, platform, and infrastructure teams.
- Drive platform improvements through new technologies and architectural patterns.
- Support event-driven and messaging-based solutions.
- Improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
