Job Title: Backend Developer (0-1 Year Exp)
Location: On-site only, New Delhi
Job Description:
We are looking for Backend Developers to join our backend team. This is a hands-on role where you'll work on impactful projects that drive our core business, not just side tasks. Freshers and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. AWS and serverless computing exposure is a strong plus but not mandatory, we'll mentor you on the cloud side if your fundamentals are solid.
What You'll Do:
- Work collaboratively with the backend team to develop backend solutions
- Write, test, and deploy backend code using Java or Kotlin
- Design and query MySQL databases for product features
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs
- Get hands-on with AWS Lambda, S3, and RDS (mentorship provided)
- Troubleshoot and monitor services using AWS CloudWatch
- Contribute to clean, secure, and cost-efficient code
Must Have:
- 0–1 year of experience (freshers welcome — internships, personal projects, and open-source contributions count)
- Solid fundamentals in Java or Kotlin (any one)
- Working knowledge of MySQL — comfortable with SELECT, JOIN, INSERT, UPDATE queries and basic indexing concepts
- Understanding of REST APIs and how backend systems work
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn fast
- B.E./B.Tech/MCA degree or equivalent (or graduating in 2026/2027)
- Fast learner with strong execution skills
Good to Have (Plus Points):
- Exposure to AWS Lambda or any serverless platform
- Familiarity with AWS S3, RDS, or CloudWatch
- Understanding of event-driven or microservices architecture
- Personal projects deployed on AWS/GCP/Azure
- Active GitHub profile with backend projects
