Client: Our client is one of the largest airlines in South America.
- Responsibilities: Develop and maintain high-quality backend services and APIs using Java and associated frameworks like Spring Boot and Hibernate.
- Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and efficient backend solutions.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other team members to define technical requirements and build new features.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Optimize and troubleshoot performance issues in backend services and systems.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and integrate them with backend systems.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve the quality of the codebase.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automating deployment processes.
- 2+ years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on Java.
- Proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate.
- Experience with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web service development.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker).
- Solid understanding of version control using Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and optimize backend services.
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish (both written and verbal).
- Nice to have: Familiarity with microservices architecture and experience building microservices.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
