We are looking for a Java Backend developer to work on challenging projects in a dynamic, cross‑functional environment. The candidate will contribute to the design and development of innovative, high‑quality software solutions while growing professionally.
Hybrid position in Madrid (3 days at the client’s office, Sol area, next to the underground).
Key Responsibilities
Design and build complex backend systems using Java, Spring Boot and RESTful services.
Lead by example in a cross‑functional team and mentor junior developers.
Drive technical discussions and contribute to engineering best practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders and support front‑end integration.
Work with modern DevOps, CI/CD and cloud‑native technologies.
Mandatory Requirements
+5 years of experience in Java backend development and software design.
Strong experience in Java backend development, Java, Spring Boot, SOA, REST APIs and SQL (Oracle).
Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, testing and monitoring.
Affinity for front‑end technologies (React, JavaScript, TypeScript).
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Kafka, OpenAPI, UML.
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
English proficiency B2/C1.
Technical Stack
Java Spring Boot, Service Oriented Architecture, RESTful Services, SQL (Oracle), React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kubernetes (PKS), Virtual Machines, Kafka, Avro, OpenAPI, UML.
