Overview
We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python. This role focuses on platform engineering, system design, and building secure, high-performance applications.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend services using Python.
Design and build RESTful APIs and integrations.
Contribute to scalable platform and system architecture.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver backend solutions.
Optimize application performance, security, and reliability.
Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices.
Requirements
5–10+ years of backend development experience.
Strong Python development skills.
Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and OpenAPI.
Solid understanding of system design and distributed applications.
Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in financial services or fintech.
Knowledge of microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with security and high-availability systems.
