Title:- Backend-Focused Full Stack Developer (ODE Development Team)
About the Role
You will be part of the ODE (On-Demand Environments) Platform team, responsible for designing and building enterprise-grade REST APIs and backend services supporting deployment orchestration across AWS ECS, Kubernetes (EKS), and Serverless environments. This is a backend-focused engineering role with strong emphasis on cloud-native development and CI/CD automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise REST APIs from scratch.
- Build scalable backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop cloud-native solutions on AWS (ECS/EKS).
- Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Enhance and maintain existing applications while implementing new features.
Must Have
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Extensive experience building REST APIs and backend microservices.
- AWS (ECS/EKS) experience.
- Docker and containerization.
- Jenkins (CI/CD).
- PostgreSQL experience preferred.
- Experience with Splunk or Dynatrace.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Go (Golang).
- Terraform / CloudFormation.
- Kafka.
- Prometheus / Grafana.
- Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js (nice to have).
- Previous JPMC experience is a plus.
