Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and motivated AWS Backend Developer with 3–5 years of experience to join our cloud engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in building backend services on AWS using serverless and microservices architectures, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.
Key Responsibilities
Backend Development
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using AWS cloud technologies.
Build RESTful APIs and event-driven services using AWS services.
Cloud Integration
Develop and deploy solutions using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS , and other core AWS services.
Security and Compliance
Implement security best practices such as IAM roles and policies, encryption, and secure data handling.
Serverless & Microservices
Build and maintain serverless and microservices-based architectures for high scalability and availability.
Collaboration
Work closely with frontend developers, QA, product managers, and solution architects to deliver high-quality solutions.
Troubleshooting & Support
Identify and resolve production issues related to AWS infrastructure and backend services.
Proof-of-Concept (PoC)
Participate in PoCs to evaluate new AWS services and backend frameworks.
Skills and Qualifications
Technical Skills
3–5 years of experience in backend or cloud application development.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS , and IAM.
Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Python .
Experience with AWS CDK / Infrastructure as Code .
Good understanding of serverless and microservices architectures .
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using AWS tools.
Working knowledge of security best practices in AWS.
Problem Solving
Strong analytical and debugging skills.
Communication
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
AWS Associate-level certification is a plus.
Experience with containerization (Docker, ECS/EKS) is beneficial.
Exposure to system design and scalable backend architectures.
