Remote senior backend python developer

Years of Experience: 8+ years overall software development experience Job Mode: Full-time Work Mode: Remote Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices in a remote full‐time capacity. Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices. Write clean, efficient, testable, and maintainable code in Python. Implement and manage relational and No SQL databases. Ensure performance, reliability, and security of backend systems. Partner with QA teams to ensure automated test coverage and high code quality. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while optimizing system performance. Mentor junior engineers within nearshore teams and promote engineering best practices. 8+ years of backend development experience in enterprise or Saa S environments. ~ Strong expertise in Python frameworks: Django, Fast API, Flask. ~ Proficiency with relational databases (Postgre SQL, My SQL, Oracle) and No SQL (Mongo DB, Dynamo DB, Redis). ~ Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure. ~ Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). ~ Strong knowledge of software design patterns, scalability, and performance tuning. ~ Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written. Experience with message queues and streaming platforms (Kafka, Rabbit MQ, SQS, Pub/Sub). Knowledge of Dev Ops tools (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Terraform). Hands‐on experience in Agile/Scrum delivery models. Exposure to frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) is a plus.
