Backend Runtime Engineer (TypeScript / Python)

Job Description

We are looking for a Backend Runtime Engineer to build the governed runtime foundation of our AI platform, including the run-event model, policy decision point, secure execution flow, and trace persistence.

Requirements

4+ years of backend software development experience.

Strong proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python .

Experience with policy-as-code , authorization, or access control systems.

Experience designing event-driven architectures or event-sourcing systems.

Strong understanding of secure runtime and backend service design.

Familiarity with CI/CD and automated testing.

Advanced English (B2+ or higher) .

Nice to Have

• Experience using AI tools to accelerate development, testing, and documentation.
  
• Knowledge of AI agent architectures, tool-call mediation, or autonomous systems.
  
• Experience building secure, highly reliable backend platforms.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement the normalized run-event model and trace persistence.
  
• Build and maintain the policy decision point with allow, deny, and fail-closed behaviors.
  
• Ensure sensitive data and secrets never appear in logs or agent outputs.
  
• Maintain event integrity and correlation IDs across runtime executions.
  
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable runtime services.
