Baker Apprentice Program

Launch your career in a skilled trade we'll train you every step of the way. In as little as three months, you'll gain hands-on training, individualized mentorship, and the foundational skills to become a Certified Baker in our supermarket bakery department. No bakery experience or formal education required. If you love food, enjoy working with your hands, and are looking to build a long-term career this program is for you.

As a Baker Apprentice, you'll receive paid training while working alongside our Master Trainers and Bakery Team Leaders. During the program, you'll learn how to bake our fresh-from-the-oven breads, pastries, cookies, cakes, and pies. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you'll transition into a Baker role with expanded responsibilities, increased earning potential, and continued career growth opportunities.

What You'll Do

• Deliver friendly, welcoming, and exceptional guest service
• Learn and maintain food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards
• Build strong product knowledge and master bakery procedures
• Prepare, shape, and bake fresh bread, pastries, cookies, cakes, and pies according to established recipes
• Support inventory management and maintain an organized, efficient bakery environment

What We're Looking For

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• A genuine interest in learning a skilled trade and building a long-term bakery career
• Willingness to travel to alternative store locations for training and placement
• Customer-focused and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
