We are looking for a Buyer to join our Commercial team in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
WHAT DO WE EXPECT?
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, Economics, or related fields (preferred);
• Previous experience in Procurement/Purchasing (Mid-Level);
• Experience purchasing both materials and services;
• Good understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and commercial negotiations;
• Experience controlling invoices and supporting payment processes;
• Ability to analyze quotations and identify the best purchasing alternatives considering cost, quality, and lead time;
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities;
• Fluency in Portuguese and advanced English;
• Knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel will be considered an advantage;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural, and international environment.
• Availability to travel domestically and internationally when required.
WHAT AWAITS YOU?
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for materials and services;
• Request quotations, evaluate suppliers, negotiate commercial conditions, and issue purchase orders;
• Analyze purchasing alternatives to ensure the best value for the company;
• Monitor purchase orders and supplier deliveries to ensure deadlines are met;
• Control invoices and support invoice reconciliation with the Finance department;
• Maintain close communication with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and provide timely support;
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while ensuring compliance with company procurement policies;
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Supply Chain function;
• Prepare procurement reports and assist with purchasing performance analysis.
