Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced C# Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust enterprise grade applications using the .NET ecosystem. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in software architecture, a track record of delivering scalable solutions, and the ability to guide technical decisions and mentor other developers

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications using C# and the .NET framework/.NET Core
  • Architect solutions and contribute to technical design decisions across projects
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs, web services, and backend systems
  • Write clean, efficient, and well documented code following SOLID principles and design patterns
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams (product, QA, DevOps, front end) throughout the SDLC
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices
  • Write unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure code quality
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues
  • Manage database design, queries, and optimization (SQL Server or equivalent)
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and technologies

Mandatory Skills

  • 8+ years of professional software development experience with C#
  • Strong expertise in .NET Framework and .NET Core/.NET 5+
  • Proven experience building and maintaining ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core MVC and Web API applications
  • Solid understanding of OOP principles, SOLID design principles, and common design patterns
  • Strong experience with Entity Framework / EF Core and ORM concepts
  • Proficiency in SQL Server (or similar RDBMS): writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning
  • Experience with RESTful API design and integration
  • Hands on experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest) and mocking libraries (Moq)
  • Strong understanding of multithreading, asynchronous programming (async/await), and memory management
  • Experience with version control systems, primarily Git
  • Solid understanding of software architecture patterns (Microservices, Clean Architecture, MVC, MVVM)
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with message queues/event driven architecture (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
  • Front end experience with Angular, React, or Blazor for full stack collaboration
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep)
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB, MongoDB, Redis)
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and API gateways
  • Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Application Insights, ELK stack, Grafana)
  • Understanding of security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, Identity Server)

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

The pay range for this role is $110000- $120000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
