We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated C++/Python Developers to join our Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS) Technology Risk & Pricing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and expertise in Fixed Income risk and pricing to deliver innovative solutions for risk management and regulatory projects
Location: Montreal (day 1 onboarding onsite/ in-office presence required 3x/week)
Responsibilities
- Analyzes Business requirements and creates technology requirements by collaborating with different business teams.
- Create Technology solutions by collaborating with technology team members.
- Deliver end-to-end solutions using high quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to the issues.
- Willing to learn Financial business and new programming languages.
- The candidate should be able to handle the full life-cycle of the project from requirements analysis to final implementation and rollout into production and also have outstanding communication skills.
Skills Required
- Hands on programming experience in C++/Python
- Hands on programming experience in Java is nice-to-have
- Hands on programming experience in scripting languages
- Perl/Shell scripting is required
- Experience with querying and analyzing the data using Sybase and MS Excel
- Fixed Income/MBS business knowledge is a definite preference.
- Hands-on programming experience in KDB+/Q/Functional programming is plus.
- Quantitative knowledge and skills are a strong plus
