In this C++ Software Engineer role, you'll join an international team responsible for maintaining and modernizing business-critical software in an Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environment. You'll resolve security findings, upgrade software components, and contribute to the modernization of these applications while ensuring they remain reliable and secure.
Working closely with software developers, architects, infrastructure specialists, and DevOps engineers, you'll contribute to technical design decisions, improve deployment processes, and support the transition to a new Identity and Access Management landscape. Your work plays a key role in keeping critical applications running smoothly in a demanding enterprise environment.
What you'll be doing as a C++ Software Engineer:
- Develop and maintain C/C++ applications
- Resolve application and network security findings
- Upgrade software components and dependencies
- Support the IAM transition and AKS deployments
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain existing applications and infrastructure
- Contribute to technical design decisions
- Work with architects and infrastructure specialists
What you need to be successful as a C++ Software Engineer:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar
- 8+ years of professional C/C++ development
- Strong command of modern C/C++ and Linux
- Hands-on experience with AKS and CI/CD pipelines
- Expertise in secure coding and security remediation
- Understanding of REST and SOAP web services
- Familiar with Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Experience in business-critical software environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
