About The Job
As the “Camera Developer / Camera Designer”, you will play a key role in creating new and innovative analogue photography products including but not limited to cameras, lenses and photography accessories. You will work hand in hand with our design and product development team in realizing the new product ideas from ideation, concept, research, design and manufacturing. Collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams, including engineers, marketers and project managers, you will ensure that the products not only meet technical requirements, but also align with market demands while reflecting our passion for analogue photography.
Responsibilities
New product concept generation, including but not limited to analog cameras, lenses, and photographic accessories
Transform confirmed product concepts to executable plans
Work closely with Project Managers, Engineering team and Manufacturers to realize the project as designed
Follow closely throughout the entire product development process, working closely with the Engineering Team to debug, resolve technical obstacles, and optimize products until mass production
Work closely with Quality Teams to establish and ensure highest standards of product
Prototyping and concept examinations in the early development stage
Testing, review samples until products go to mass production
Provide technical support for camera related topics across different departments

Requirements
Highly experienced in both analog and digital photography, profound knowledge on camera and mechanisms
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design or related degrees is an advantage
Experience in product development, or product operations, ideally in consumer goods, design and related industries is an advantage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
Proactive, detail‑oriented, creative
Knowledge and experience in photography in terms of equipment, history, artistry and techniques
Proficiency in engineering 3D modelling (e.g. Solidworks, Creo Parametric, Autodesk Fusion) is an advantage
