Key Responsibilities Improve sand casting / iron casting processes and production yield.
Troubleshoot casting defects such as porosity, NCU, core shift, over-grinding, inclusions, and dimensional issues .
Conduct process audits and ensure foundry process controls are followed.
Analyze production, scrap, yield, and defect trends using data-driven methods.
Work with complex core assemblies, material flow, and production tracking .
Analyze machining feedback and Pareto defect maps to identify foundry root causes.
Lead 8D, Root Cause Analysis, DOE, CAPA, and continuous improvement activities.
Understand casting drawings, machining drawings, CAD models, GD
