About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Clinical Officer to oversee its clinical operations and ensure regulatory compliance in all clinical areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for the leadership and management of physician relations, recovery operations, and the development and implementation of policies and protocols for donor care and surgical recovery. This role requires a strong background in healthcare administration, with a Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare administration and a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years' experience in healthcare leadership, particularly in a comparable-sized OPO or healthcare organization, is required, along with CPTC certification or the ability to obtain it within two years.
The Chief Clinical Officer will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and other executive team members to drive donation improvements, ensure hospital engagement, and maintain the highest standards of clinical quality. The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as a proven track record of leadership, motivation, and organizational planning. They must be flexible, adaptable, and dependable, with a strong ethical character. The role also involves significant travel, contract negotiation, and oversight of the annual budget for clinical areas. The Chief Clinical Officer will be expected to represent the organization in various external functions and ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations.
