Job Summary:
We are looking for a Java Full Stack Engineer with strong expertise in Java backend development (primary focus) and working knowledge of frontend technologies. The role involves building scalable, high-performance applications for retail operations, including order management, inventory, and customer-facing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java (Spring Boot)
- Design and build scalable REST APIs for retail applications (orders, inventory, customers)
- Work on frontend components using Angular/React as required
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Follow coding standards and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, QA, UI/UX) for end-to-end delivery
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot (Primary)
- Hands-on experience in REST API development
- Good knowledge of SQL and database design
- Working knowledge of Angular or React (Secondary)
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience with Git/version control
Good to Have:
- Experience in the retail/e-commerce domain
- Exposure to high-volume transaction systems
- Understanding of performance optimisation
- Knowledge of secure coding practices
