Class 1 Driver

Our well established client, based in Welham Green, requires Category C & E (HGV Class 1 Drivers) to help its busy operational distribution centre. AM shifts and PM shifts are available on fixed shifts. Some manual work involved. Minimum 1 year HGV driving experience required. Full training provided and written and driving assessment would need to be taken on site.
Class 1 Driver Main duties will include:
* Store delivery or cross docking
* Store Delivery in the South East and greater London
* Inter depot trunking to our other sites
* Direct Container Collections from ports
* Max 2 stops per day - Either 1 run or 1 AM drop and 1 PM drop
* Making sure your load is safe and all vehicle and trailer checks are completed
* Completion of all delivery paperwork from client to store
Class 1 Driver Shifts:
* Shift patterns will be: Friday to Monday
* Various adhoc shifts available sometimes
* AM Days various start times Between 05:00am to 19:00
* PM Night shifts start times Between 19:00 to 05:00am
Class 1 Driver Pay Rates:
* Any shift AM 05:00am to 19:00pm - PAYE £21.40 per hour
* Any shift PM 19:00pm to 05:00am - PAYE £25.35 per hour
* Bank Holiday £64.19
