As a Clinical Data Associate II, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality, integrity, and accuracy of clinical trial data that supports the development of innovative therapies and medical devices. Working alongside experienced Clinical Data Management professionals, you'll help deliver reliable data that drives scientific and regulatory decisions.
What You'll Do
As a Clinical Data Associate II, you will independently perform advanced clinical data management activities while ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practices (GCP), regulatory requirements, and Thermo Fisher Scientific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Key responsibilities include:
- Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies while maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
- Generate, track, and resolve data queries with investigative sites and internal stakeholders.
- Review clinical data listings for completeness, consistency, and quality.
- Analyze and resolve data validation reports and other data management outputs.
- Perform reconciliation activities, including Serious Adverse Event (SAE) and Third-Party Vendor reconciliations.
- Produce project-specific status reports for Clinical Data Management leadership and clients.
- Support CRF implementation activities when applicable.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality study deliverables.
What We're Looking For
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional academic or technical qualifications are preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Clinical Data Management or a related field.
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
The ideal candidate demonstrates:
- Solid understanding of Clinical Data Management processes and GCP requirements.
- Knowledge of clinical trial terminology, study protocols, and Data Validation Manuals.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional quality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong English proficiency.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
- High level of professionalism and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of clinical and proprietary data.
- Proficiency with computer systems and data management applications.
Working Environment
- Office or hybrid work environment with standard office equipment.
- Occasional travel to site locations may be required.
