As a Senior Clinical Programmer I at AstraZeneca in Barcelona, you will design, develop, and validate advanced programming solutions and dashboards for ongoing clinical studies. You work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality analyses and reporting that support trial decisions. You will build and maintain visualization tools and contribute to complex programming initiatives within the clinical programming roadmap. This role blends technical leadership with collaboration in a mission-driven, innovative environment.

• Design, develop, implement and validate sophisticated programs in Python/SAS/R, and dashboard apps like PowerBI/Spotfire
• Develop and maintain PowerBI dashboard applications
• Program independently to process, analyze, and report clinical trial data for study teams
• Contribute to high-complexity projects within the clinical programming roadmap
• Define and build processes/tools for global and study-level analytical solutions
• Develop guidelines to improve quality, efficiency, timelines, and effectiveness
• Provide cross-training and technical support for reports/dashboards
• Lead documentation activities to ensure SOPs and protocols are followed
• Ensure high quality in own work and in others' outputs
• Identify and communicate risks in studies/projects
• Collaborate with data management, DMO, clinical, biometrics and other teams to meet reporting needs
• Gather requirements and maintain data visualization tools and dashboards
• Create and maintain a catalogue of reports to aid data cleaning and reporting
• Oversee documentation completion for programming tasks to ensure SOP/compliance
Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years in a professional environment
• Programming skills in Python/SAS/R/SQL/SQL/Power BI/SpotFire or similar dashboard technologies
• Intermediate knowledge of the clinical development process
• Good knowledge xqbhyrx of industry standards
• Ability to influence partners
• Excellent analytical, writing and communication skills, and ability to work in a multi-functional team
• Ability to work in a distributed team environment
• Technical expertise with data capture, data models, data mining, and visualization techniques
• Experience with EDC systems like Medidata Rave/Inform/Veeva and data platforms like Saama/Entimice, SAS LSAF
