As our Cloud CoE Solution Architect Lead, you will serve as the premier technical authority, leading our Cloud ARB and shaping how unique, cutting-edge digital platforms deploy safely and elastically to the Mars global cloudYour Strategic Role and Impact Lead and Mentor: You will guide, mentor, and foster a collaborative, high-performance team of cloud architectsTechnical Governance: You will lead the Technical Design Authority (Cloud ARB) sessions to evaluate and approve advanced cloud architectures proposed by Mars’ Digital Platform Development teamStandards and Compliance: You will enforce elasticity, scalability, and high availability standards while ensuring the seamless adoption of critical security and governance controls across all cloud workloadsBacklog Prioritization: You will partner directly with SRE and digital platform teams to prioritize the enablement backlog and ensure it meets the business needs of the organization.What We Are Looking ForExperience: You have 7+ years of experience as a Solution Architect with a focus on cloud architecture and design, with a proven track record of mentoring architects and driving decisions within a technical group.Technical Mastery: You possess proven, hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services, utilizing Infrastructure-as-Code (specifically Terraform) and version control (Git).Cloud Foundations: You demonstrate deep knowledge of cloud security principles, data modeling, application architecture, and system integration.Communication Excellence: You have the ability to translate complex cloud architecture into clear business value for both highly technical teams and senior business leaders.Educational Background: You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical work experience.Additional Strengths: Experience with other cloud platforms like Azure or AWS, or familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF, is highly valued.What to Expect in This RoleBalancing Speed and Governance: The Cloud CoE is an enabler, not a bottleneck.
