The Senior Cloud Computing Developer will design, develop, and optimize multi-tier web applications, including enterprise software and infrastructure management tools. This role requires expertise in cloud computing, Kubernetes, and Python development while collaborating with global teams to enhance both on-prem and public cloud solutions. The position is part of the Cloud Fleet within Enterprise Computing, interfacing with engineering teams, applications, and back-end infrastructure to drive user engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and review code while contributing innovative ideas to a team of technologists.
Facilitate technical discussions and the development of web applications, web services, and public APIs supporting hundreds of users.
Participate in the design and architecture of web applications.
Implement various components of applications using Python.
Formulate and implement recommendations/solutions based on software requirements.
Collaborate with teams across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, supporting a global function.

Required Qualifications

2-3 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
Strong knowledge of Cloud Computing concepts and applications.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Experience with Linux/Shell scripting.
Proficiency in TDD, CI, Agile, and iterative software development practices.
Familiarity with application code and configuration scanning for best practices.
Expertise in designing and building RESTful service applications and clients.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with global teams and customers.
Solid understanding of change management processes.
Ability to write and present technical documentation effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for performance optimization.
