Role: Cloud Data Engineer
Job Description:
The Cloud Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and Azuer cloud platforms. This role involves working with large datasets, optimizing data workflows, and ensuring secure, efficient data storage and processing in cloud environments.
Our Challenge
The Cloud Data Engineer will face the challenge of designing and implementing a robust, scalable, and secure cloud-based data platform that seamlessly integrates diverse data sources, including structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data. They must optimize data pipelines for high performance and reliability while ensuring data quality and integrity across large datasets. Additionally, they need to lead the enterprise-wide migration to cloud data architectures, employing best practices in data modeling, governance, and security, all within a complex environment that demands both technical excellence and strategic oversight. Success in this role requires balancing innovative data processing solutions with operational stability, ultimately enabling the organization to make data-driven decisions efficiently and securely in a cloud-first landscape.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Mississauga, ON is $125k - $130k/year & benefits (see below).
