What you’ll be doing
You’ll be at the heart of CIBC’s digital transformation, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale mobile projects involving multiple back-end systems. As a Sr Cloud Data Engineer, you’ll assemble, implement, and maintain easy, flexible, and personalized solutions. You’ll lead the planning and strategy for the technical design, development, and integration of applications.

Who you are
You can demonstrate experience at least 5+ years of experience and the Cloud Data Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions using cloud technologies. This role leverages expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Power BI to build and optimize data pipelines and analytics solutions. The incumbent works with large data sets utilizing Python, PySpark, and SAS, and applies sound data modeling principles to enable effective data management and reporting. The Cloud Data Engineer ensures the quality and reliability of data products through the creation of unit test cases and supports the implementation of data mesh architecture within the cloud infrastructure.
