The client is seeking a
Senior Cloud Developer with a strong software development background who has transitioned into
AWS cloud-native development. The ideal consultant should have extensive experience with
AWS Lambda (Python), Terraform, API Gateway, Kafka, and serverless architectures.

Important: This is a
Cloud Developer role-not a DevOps, Infrastructure, SRE, or AI/ML position. Candidates should have started their career as
Java Developers and later transitioned into
AWS Cloud, Python, and Serverless development.

Mandatory Skills (Must Have)
- 15+ years of U.S. IT experience
- Strong Java development background
- Hands-on AWS Lambda (Python) development
- Python programming
- Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- API Gateway
- Kafka
- Strong understanding of Cloud-Native Architecture
- Serverless Application Development
- System Design and Architecture
- REST API Development
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience interacting with non-technical business users
Nice to Have
- Experience within the Airline domain
- AWS Cloud Architecture
- Microservices Architecture
- Event-Driven Architecture
Not a Fit
- Primarily Java Developers with no AWS cloud development experience
- DevOps Engineers
- Infrastructure Engineers
- Site Reliability Engineers (SRE)
- AI / Machine Learning Engineers
- Candidates with frequent job changes or unstable work history
REQUIRED
- 15+ years of U.S. experience is mandatory.
- Candidate must have a Java development background and should have transitioned into AWS Cloud development.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Lambda (Python), Terraform, Kafka, API Gateway, and Serverless Architecture is mandatory.
