Position: Senior Cloud Developer (AWS Lambda / Python / Terraform)

Location: Remote (Quarterly Travel to Dallas, TX) (Expenses Paid) (No PST Candidates)

Contract: 12+ Months Contract

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Developer with a strong Java development background who has transitioned into AWS cloud-native development using Python and Serverless technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop cloud-native applications on AWS.
Build serverless solutions using AWS Lambda and Python.
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Design and develop RESTful APIs using API Gateway.
Build event-driven applications using Kafka.
Work with AWS Step Functions and CloudWatch.
Participate in system design and architecture discussions.
Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver scalable cloud solutions.

Required Skills:

12 15+ years of IT experience
10+ years of AWS Cloud development
Python & AWS Lambda
Terraform (IaC)
API Gateway & API Development
Kafka
AWS CloudWatch
AWS Step Functions
System Design & Cloud Architecture
Java development background with transition to AWS/Python
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
