Job description
Job Summary:
Hitachi, Ltd. is seeking a talented Cloud Developer to design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge cloud-native applications and infrastructure. This role will contribute to the evolution of our digital solutions, leveraging modern cloud platforms and engineering practices to deliver robust, scalable, and high-performance systems.
Job Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications and microservices using various programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
* Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
* Collaborate with architects, product managers, and other developers to translate requirements into technical designs and scalable solutions.
* Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment processes.
* Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud resource utilization.
* Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and promote best practices in cloud development and engineering.
* Ensure the security, reliability, and compliance of cloud-based systems.
* Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies, trends, and industry standards.
Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience in developing and deploying applications on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
* Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, Go, C#).
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager).
* Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
* Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
* Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Azure Developer Associate, GCP Professional Cloud Developer) is a plus.
