This is a remote based role but occasionally requires someone to be onsite in Paris. It is offering an excellent daily rate and likely to run for multiple years.
The Global Data team for a world renowned, global manufacturer in the construction industry are seeking an Expert DevOps Consultant to support team and current DevOps in feature deployment, automation, integration, and overall maintenance of environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/ Information Systems or any related field
- Mastery of established programming languages (Python, Java, Scala)
- In-depth knowledge of common cloud applications (AWS, Azure) and framework technologies (Spark, S3, Nifi)
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code Frameworks (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Extensive experience in using container orchestration tool (Docker swarm or Kubernetes)
- Sufficient in using open-source automation tools (Git, Jenkins, Ansible)
- Have experience within Automation area of expertise using Cloud Infrastructures Services
- Have sound knowledge of data management
- Have experience related to data architecture or software development
- Have previous experience in using big data related tools preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced agile development environment
