A leading European mobility group is looking for a DevOps Engineer to take ownership of their managed file transfer (MFT) infrastructure in a cloud environment, with a focus on Axway XFB and Secure Transport.

The challenge

The group is running a strategic migration from Axway XFB to Secure Transport across a multi-country infrastructure. You will be the technical reference for this platform: ensuring its availability, driving the migration forward, and embedding DevOps practices into file transfer operations.

  • Setup, configuration, and administration of Axway XFB and Secure Transport in a cloud environment.
  • Management of evolution requests and operational maintenance (patching, obsolescence).
  • Implementation and maintenance of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling.
  • Design and deployment of new file transfer workflows, including integration with external stakeholders.
  • Monitoring of production applications and contribution to technical documentation.
  • On-call support for P1 production incidents.
  • 3+ years of experience in Ops roles.
  • Hands‑on experience with Axway XFB and/or Secure Transport administration.
  • In‑depth knowledge of file transfer protocols (FTP, SFTP).
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS or equivalent).
  • Proficiency with IaC tools, particularly Terraform.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab.

Nice to have

  • Monitoring tools: Dynatrace or Zabbix.
  • Scripting: Shell/Bash, Python.
  • Configuration management: Ansible.
  • Familiarity with Jira and data security/privacy standards.

Why this project

  • Long‑term engagement with a recognized European leader in mobility, operating across 137 countries.
  • Strategic scope: you will be a core contributor to the XFB‑to‑MFT migration at group level.
  • International, DevOps‑oriented environment with cross‑team visibility.
