Cloud devops engineer

NTT DATA is looking for an AWS Cloud Dev Ops Engineer to design, implement, and optimize cloud-native infrastructure and Dev Ops practices on AWS.

The engineer will accelerate software delivery, improve system reliability, and drive automation across the development lifecycle, working closely with engineering, architecture, and platform teams.

Key Responsibilities Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineering Design, build, and maintain scalable, highly available, and secure AWS cloud environments. Implement infrastructure as code (Ia C) using tools such as Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation, or CDK. Manage core AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM, and Cloud Front. Dev Ops & Automation Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as AWS Code Pipeline, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or Git Lab CI. Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and configuration management. Promote Dev Ops best practices including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous testing. Cloud Operations & Reliability Monitor system performance using tools such as Cloud Watch, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog. Implement logging, tracing, and alerting to ensure system reliability and rapid incident response. Support incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of system resilience. Security & Compliance Implement cloud security best practices including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security. Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards through automation and policy enforcement. Embed security into the Dev Ops lifecycle (Dev Sec Ops principles). Collaboration & Delivery Work closely with software engineers, architects, and product teams to support application delivery. Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to backlog prioritization and sprint delivery. Provide technical guidance on cloud-native architectures and Dev Ops practices. Continuous Improvement & Innovation Stay current with evolving AWS services and Dev Ops tooling. Identify opportunities to improve deployment speed, reliability, and developer experience. Contribute to reusable frameworks, templates, and internal best practices. Capabilities & Skills Required Strong hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services and architecture patterns. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, CDK). Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and release management. Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS). Experience with scripting and programming languages (Python, Bash, or similar). Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability practices. Understanding of cloud security, networking, and compliance. Familiarity with Agile and Dev Ops methodologies. Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems. Effective communication and collaboration skills in cross‑functional teams. Academic Qualifications & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred. AWS certifications highly desirable, such as: AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer – Professional AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional Additional certifications in Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD) or Dev Ops tools advantageous.
