Job brief:
Cloud engineers are IT professionals who design, implement, and manage cloud-based systems for businesses. They develop and implement cloud-applications, migrate existing on-premise applications to the cloud, and debug cloud stacks.
We are looking for an Cloud engineer to work with our engineering team to develop, implement, optimize, and maintain cloud-based solutions. You will be responsible for deploying and debugging cloud stacks, educating teams on new cloud initiatives, and ensuring the security of the cloud infrastructure.
To be successful as a cloud engineer, you should be able to identify the most optimal cloud-based solutions for our clients and maintain cloud infrastructures in accordance with best practices and company security policies. A top-notch cloud engineer should have excellent troubleshooting skills, stay current with industry trends, and should be a team player.
What you'll do
Design - Infrastructure Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems Cloud Development - Ability to develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices Process Functions - Ensure proficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security Deployment - Deploy, Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues Problem Solving - Effective working in new areas that require experimentation and rapid problem solving Review & Improvements - Regularly review and monitor existing systems and make recommendations for improvements Team Player - Flexible, continuous learner and knowledge sharer, enthusiastic, personable self-starter, works well in team environment, appreciates challenge. Experience - 3 -5 Years of experience in application and infrastructure architecture/development on on-prem and various cloud environments. Leadership - Ability to lead a team in the absence of Team Lead, experience is a plus. Multiple eco systems - Should have experience with at least 1 or 2 public cloud vendors eco-system and services. - AWS, GCP (or) Azure services. Cloud Services - Experience with wide cloud services and understanding of compute instances, networking, security and storage Coding Scripts - Experience in shell or bash or python/perl is a must Operating Sytems - Experience with Linux/Windows administration Cloud Automation - Experience with Infra automation using terraform, cloud formation and ci/cd tool kit with Jenkins, Bamboo, CircleCI. Certifications - Professional Level Cloud certification in Azure, GCP or AWS.
