Cloud Engineer- Python

We are looking for a Cloud Developer with strong expertise in Python and cloud-native application development. The role involves building scalable microservices, designing high-performance APIs, and working extensively on cloud platforms (GCP preferred).

• Primary Skills: Cloud (GCP preferred / AWS / Azure), Python

• Strong proficiency in Python for application development, automation, and data processing
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs using FastAPI / Flask
• Hands-on experience with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data handling
• Experience in cloud-based application deployment and data services
• Expertise in building high-concurrency, asynchronous APIs using FastAPI (async/await, non-blocking I/O)
• Strong understanding of GCP networking and security , including:
  • VPC architecture and subnet isolation
  • Cloud Load Balancing
  • IAM and Workload Identity
  • Resource quotas and cost optimization

• GCP ecosystem experience preferred
• API Gateway experience using Apigee (routing, authentication, rate limiting, versioning, protocol translation REST gRPC)
• Containerization using Docker and deployment on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
• Kubernetes expertise: Pods, Services, Ingress, autoscaling, rolling updates, service discovery
• CI/CD pipeline design for microservices (testing, Docker build, vulnerability scanning, GitOps deployments)
• NoSQL schema design for high read/write distributed systems
• Strong SQL skills (joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions) with PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS
• Experience with YAML/JSON configuration management for Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines
• Cross-cloud networking (GCP Azure integration using VPN/interconnects)
• Observability using Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring distributed systems
• Testing strategy using Gherkin-based automation for monolith + microservices

• Highly proactive and ownership-driven
• Strong hands-on technical contributor
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Focus on continuous improvement and innovation in engineering practices
