The role in a nutshell
We\'re growing our Montreal team and hiring
3 Cloud Engineers
to design, deploy, and operate hosting infrastructure at global scale — on our private cloud and on public clouds (AWS, OVH). A full-scope role: from pre-sales to architecture to operations, working directly with clients.
What you\'ll do
- Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure (private, public, hybrid) for international clients
- Provide proactive monitoring, maintenance, and incident resolution
- Support clients from needs qualification (pre-sales) through full management of their cloud architecture
- Propose optimizations and evolve existing infrastructure
- Document architectures and share knowledge with the team
- Stay on top of cloud technology trends
Schedule:
day shift + rotating night on-call with the team (approximately (1 week out of X)), compensated at
$200/week
.
What we\'re looking for
Required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managed services or hosting
- Advanced proficiency in Linux (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS) and/or Windows Server
- Experience with virtualization, storage, and backup (Proxmox, VMware, EMC, Veeam)
- Strong client-facing skills, rigor, and solid writing abilities
- Fluent French and English
- Valid working visa In Canada
Nice to have:
- Networking: Cisco ASA, Fortinet, iptables, VLANs, routing, subnetting
- Scripting: Bash, PHP
- AWS experience or certifications
