We are looking for a skilled Senior Cloud & Security Engineer to join our highly collaborative engineering team. In this role, you will serve as a Cloud Subject Matter Expert (SME), designing, architecting, and deploying automated cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms.
You will combine hands-on infrastructure automation with cloud security tooling to deliver scalable, secure, and repeatable technical solutions for client engagements.
Cloud Architecture & Support: Serve as a Cloud SME supporting design, architecture, and deployment initiatives using automated orchestration and configuration management tools.
Security Tooling Deployment: Integration and deployment of enterprise security tools (e.g., Tenable, Trend Micro, AquaSec, Microsoft Defender, Burp Suite, and related platforms).
Automation & Process Improvement: Drive internal service delivery excellence by developing and refining scripts, internal tools, and repeatable automation workflows.
Multi-Cloud Technology Stacks: Research, evaluate, and implement native services across leading cloud providers (AWS, Azure, and GCP) to optimize deployments.
Engineering Collaboration: Work within cross-functional technical teams to deliver end-to-end engineering solutions in a fluid, fast-paced environment.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and direct industry experience).
Systems Engineering: 5+ years of systems engineering and architecture experience-including requirements definition, architecture development, story/use case creation, and systems integration/testing.
Cloud Architecture: 5+ years supporting cloud architecture, design, deployment, operations, and automation within AWS or Azure.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): 5+ years of hands-on experience utilizing IaC and automation/orchestration tooling (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
Cloud Expertise: Strong background as a Cloud Architect, Cloud DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Security Engineer with deep AWS or Azure platform knowledge.
Agile Teamwork: Proven experience collaborating within technical teams (3+ individuals) in an Agile framework.
Security & Risk Alignment: Ability to apply critical thinking to balance complex security requirements with mission and business goals.
Technical Documentation: Proficiency in crafting comprehensive documentation, including detailed architecture diagrams and technical write-ups.
Execution & Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a track record of working efficiently and independently in a dynamic environment.
