You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

Qualifications
You Have:
4+ years of professional software development experience
Experience at a proficient lebvel in Java with Spring Boot or Python
Experience designing and implementing resilient, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud-native architectures
Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices using modern web application frameworks and microservice patterns
Exxperience developing and managing containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
Experience designing and implementing distributed data pipelines for high-volume data ingestion, processing, and storage
Experience developing data-driven dashboards and visualization tools using modern front-end libraries such as React or Solid
Experience building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines and comprehensive testing strategies, including unit and integration testing
Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
HS diploma or GED and 4+ years of experience in software development, or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field and 8+ years of experience in software development
Nice If You Have:
Experience developing and managing Kubernetes Operators and Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs)
Experience with distributed streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka
Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j
Expertise with cloud monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack
Experience with Apache Spark or similar distributed and big data processing frameworks
Experience managing stateful and stateless services across cloud storage and application layers
Experience optimizing cloud-native application performance, identifying production bottlenecks, and improving system reliability
Experience implementing secure, resilient, and highly available cloud-native applications and infrastructure
Experience documenting cloud architecture patterns, deployment workflows, and operational processes
Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with data architects, DevOps teams, and product managers
Knowledge of of Kubernetes concepts and internals, including Pods, Services, Namespaces, Resource Management, deployments, ingress controllers, and service meshes
Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field

Compensation at EverWatch is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $100.96 to $115.38 per hour. The estimate displayed represents the typical compensation range for this position and is just one component of EverWatch’s total compensation package for employees.
