We are seeking a highly skilled Lead CloudOps Software Engineer to lead the design and development of the core software systems that power our cloud deployment automation and tenant management platform.
This is a hands‐on engineering role focused on building scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications that enable the provisioning, configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management of customer environments across a modern multi-cloud SaaS ecosystem.The ideal candidate combines strong full-stack software engineering expertise with a passion for cloud-native technologies and platform automation.
You enjoy designing distributed systems, building developer-focused products, solving complex technical challenges, and delivering high-quality software that improves the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of engineering operationsResponsibilitiesesOwn the full-stack design and implementation of the Tenant Manager platform, including tenant deployment workflows, infrastructure configuration managementProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers in both software development and cloud deployment best practices.Design and develop Infrastructure-as-code automation for Terraform, K8s, Snowflake, and while also executing customer tenant migrations in Analytics and Insights.Manage and optimize AWS based (EKS) K8s clusters and workloads using Argo CD, Flux, and Helm.Work with the Product Engineering teams in building out the specifications and provide scalable, reliable platforms for the automation/delivery platformOperate and maintain orchestration routines in productionComplete periodic application software and infrastructure updates and software version upgradesSupport product development teams in the delivery of continuous integration, continuous deployment, providing templates and patterns to follow to ensure code produced by product development teams can be deployed and scaled on standardized technologies and platformsPerform root cause analysis for production issues where the root cause is in infrastructure, environment, configuration, or deployment routines; understand when to elevate to product development teams; remediate root causes and implement preventative actionsParticipate in 24/7 on-call support including shift rotations where requiredAble to communicate effectively and work as a team member to manage all cloud-based systems used within the environmeWhat are we looking for Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with an emphasis on cloud-based application deploymentBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experienceAdditional experience may be a substitute for an advanced Degree.Advanced experience with modern web development frameworks and technologies such as Next.Js, React, Node.Js, Material UI, and ORM technologies (TypeORM, etc)Advanced experience with distributed application patterns and modern frontend architecture, including resilience patterns, state management, and real-time communication technologiesAdvanced understanding of software engineering principals, including source control and principles such as GitOpsAdvanced knowledge and experience with Kubernetes, Flux, Terraform or equivalent technologiesAdvanced knowledge of AWS services, including EKS, EFS, RDS, ECS,etcStrong Java, Python, and Git experienceAbility to handle a heavy workload with multiple projects and frequent interruptionsAbility to work in a changing, dynamic environmentStrong problem-solving ability across applications and their supporting infrastructure in a cloud environmentStrong written and verbal communication ski#J- *-Ljbffr
