Machinist Position

In this role, you'll work with state-of-the-art multi-axis CNC equipment in a clean, temperature-controlled environment. You'll be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, or Swiss machines to manufacture intricate parts to tight tolerances. Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or Swiss machines to produce precision components
  • Interpret blueprints, job orders, and specifications including dimensions, tolerances, and tooling requirements
  • Select, secure, and position workpieces using appropriate fixtures and setups
  • Adjust tooling, offsets, and tool compensation to maintain part quality
  • Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet specifications
  • Monitor machine operations and verify conformance of finished parts
  • Troubleshoot issues and communicate maintenance or repair needs
  • Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow and high-quality output

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience operating CNC mills or lathes (set-up and programming/editing experience preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Dependable, safety-focused, and able to follow instructions
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and plan ahead
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Schedule

  • Monday Friday: 3:00 PM 12:00 AM
  • Optional overtime on Saturdays (as needed)
