CNC Programmer
Our client, a leader in manufacturing, is seeking a CNC Programmer to join their team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: CNC Programmer
Location: Du Bois, PA
Pay Range: $33,280 - $52,000
Shift: Day shift - 5:00 am to 3:30 pm; Second shift - 3:15 pm to 2:00 am. Work schedule consists of four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday. Overtime on Fridays and Saturdays is optional.
What's the Job?
- Operate and program CNC lathes to produce precision metal parts.
- Review blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate production.
- Shape materials such as steel, aluminum, and plastic to meet specifications.
- Determine appropriate speeds, feeds, and tools for cutting operations.
- Monitor and modify programs to meet tight tolerances and ensure quality.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent; secondary education in a related field or 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Knowledge of CNC lathe operation and programming, with familiarity in Doosan or Smart lathe preferred.
- Proficiency in Mathematics and Blueprint Reading.
- Ability to use measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
