Minimum Requirements
- Valid Code 10 Drivers Licence
- Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
- Valid Forklift Licence/Certificate
- Valid Medical Certificate
- Previous experience as a driver, preferably in a similar environment
- Good knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations
- Good communication skills
- Reliable, responsible and safety-conscious
- Physically fit and able to assist with loading and offloading where required
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with road and company regulations
- Transport and deliver goods to customers and/or designated locations
- Load and offload goods safely and efficiently
- Operate a forklift when required
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements
- Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and signed for
- Maintain accurate delivery records and relevant paperwork
- Ensure goods are handled and transported with care
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures
- Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the company vehicle
- Assist with general warehouse or dispatch duties when required
