Job Summary:
This role involves the selection, design, and verification of mechanical and electrical components for data center infrastructure. You will collaborate with engineering teams and vendors to ensure components meet rigorous requirements and standards. The position demands technical expertise in a variety of component types and a commitment to improving engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and select components based on technical specifications and cost.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure component quality and compliance.
- Provide technical guidance on various electrical and mechanical parts.
- Assist in qualifying alternative components for cost or supply chain benefits.
- Contribute to refining component engineering procedures and documentation.
Must-Have Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years in Mechanical component engineering and 3+ years in Electrical component engineering.
- Experience with electrical components.
Industry Experience:
Experience working with hardware and infrastructure in data center environments is a plus.
